SHERRY TO PLAY BUDOKAN

Already legendary rockers SHERRY are in Japan to begin an unprecedented two-week stand at famed venue Budokan Hall. The historic Japanese rock house has been the site of concerts by greats like Cheap Trick, Bob Dylan, and the Bay City Rollers, but SHERRY lead man Nick St. Nicholas is unimpressed. "Other than the Rollers, I really don't know who those people are, although I'm sure they might make the bigtime one day!"
SHERRY has sold out every night of the 14 night marathon concert, and they did it in a record-breaking 11 minutes! Even more impressive is the fact that SHERRY will be playing non-stop the entire time. "We figure," says Nicholas, "Why waste time with all that stopping and starting and coming and going, you know? We'll just play straight through the night and get a bit of rest in the morning. I mean, we play for two hours all the time, right?""
When confronted with the fact that two weeks is not the same as two hours, Nicholas is typically non-plussed. "I really can't be bothered with such trivialities as details. Really dear boy, I don't even tie my own shoes! It's just not rock and roll!"
